Moment road rage motorist throws punch at recovery truck driver (2025)

An enraged motorist has been caught throwing punches at a recovery truck driver in a furious bust up at a roundabout.

In the video you can see the two men, who have both got out of their vehicles at the busy crossing, begin to argue.

The incident is understood to have taken place in Southall, west London last Wednesday.

One of the men, sporting a orange hi-viz jacket, can be seen jumping backwards while the other motorist begins to swing wild punches at him.

It is unknown what started the outburst of violence, but angry drivers from the queue behind can be heard honking their horns as the fight leaves them unable to move forward.

Eventually another man intervenes andputs himself between the two men to calm the situation down, before guiding one of them back to his car.

The worker also walks back to his vehicle, touching his face.

The Met Police has been approached for comment.

It comes amid a string of road rage incidents, including one where a screaming woman punched a driver's window and smashed the bonnet.

The shocking footage shows a group of three females surrounding a Fiat 500 which was being driven by a teenage girl.

The woman was seen storming over to the car before screaming and swearing at the driver while bashing the bonnet.

Her friend tries to hold her back but she brushes her off and continues to rage on.

She then walked over to the passenger side and tried to open the door but when she couldn't, punched the window instead.

She finally walks away with the two other women, back to a Ford Fiesta, which appears to be blocking the country road.

But before getting back in the car she does not hesitate to scream once more and flipped the teen driver off.

It is understood the teen driver had been tailgated by a male driver while following the speed limit, before he overtook her and stopped in the road.

That is when the hysterical woman and her two friends jumped out of the car and the blonde went on her verbal rampage.

The male drove the getaway car after the verbal attack and the teenager sought to get his number plate.

The incident is said to have happened last night in Mottingham, south-east London.

In the UK, there is no specific law for road rage incidents.

It comes as a record number of people were killed in 2023 as a result of 'road rage' motorists.

Government figures show 143 people died in accidents that police said were triggered by aggressive driving.

In total, there were 2,722 collisions where police said aggressive driving behaviour was a contributing factor.

They led to a total of 4,084 casualties.
