Public assistance sought solving cold case homicide in LimaLIMA — The Lima Police Department has asked for the public’s assistance in solving an almost 20-year-old murder of a Lima man. According to a Crime Stoppers news release, on Sept. 25, 2005, at 11:45 p.m., Lima police officers were dispatched to the area of Market Street and Metcalf Street in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a white Cadillac with Lucious Upshaw Jr., 53, as the sole occupant of the vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper torso.
